FLEX, a new solution by Magic Motorsport, has been released to replace the famous MAGPro x17. It is a modular solution which allows you to choose only the protocols you need. Flex is the revolutionary chiptuning programmer that speeds up your mechatronic work. It includes functions like ECU/TCU reading and writing, module repair, and performance improvement, and they are all in one single solution.

The Magic Motorsport Flex Tuning tool Hardware is the entry point in operating the Magic Motorsport tuning platform. Unlike many tuning tools the Magic Motorsport Flex Tuning tool is not predefined as a master or slave tuning device. The Device is simply sold as hardware, to which you can add vehicle tuning protocols. Either master or slave, full or single protocols and activations.

Simply purchase your hardware unit, and add the software protocols for the vehicle coverage you want to offer. You will require an internet signal, a laptop, running Windows software, and a car battery charger. Once you have these setup you will have access to all the potential that the tool offers you.

For additional coverage for non-OBD tuneable vehicles, repairing and cloning of ECUs. The Flexbox module offers BDM, Bootloader, JTAG and AUD tunings. The two elements together, offer unrivalled tuning coverage and applications.

In order to use Flex, you need to add the software package that best suits your needs.
Choose one of the Master packages if you want to be 100% free. Otherwise, choose a Slave license to collaborate with an industry expert.
If you buy Flex with a software package, you a one-year subscription for free, including periodic software updates with new solutions.
You can choose whether to renovate your subscription or not, year by year. In both cases, Flex will always work with previous updates that you had already received.

What is the difference between the Flex slave version and the master version?

Flex MASTER
The Flex Master software license offers many advantages. First of all, the Flex Master software license has been designed for the user to create its own professional network: activate your file decryptor software module and add up to 99 slave users, linked to your own account. Also, the Flex Master software version has no limitations of file formats: the user works with plaintext files and .bin formats that are both editable with any type of software.
Furthermore, the Master user has the possibility to use the file modification services offered by Magicmotorsport and has access to 300 free Green coins per month, as well as benefiting from full tech support.

Flex SLAVE
The Flex Slave software license can only work with encrypted files; therefore the Slave user does not have the ability to access the content and cannot edit it. Any type of modification required by the Slave user must be forwarded to their Master who can encrypt and decrypt their files. The Flex Slave tool must be linked to a Flex Master account. This Master can either be chosen by the Slave user or be recommended by Magicmotorsport based on the general geographical area of the Slave user. Once the Master has been chosen, the Slave user will be exclusively linked to that Master for any operation that requires the modification of files. The Slave user benefits from basic Magicmotorsport Tech Support and all support requests must first be handled by their Master. Slave users cannot be released until their Master sends explicit permission via email to Magicmotorsport.

If you purchase the slave version you have the option to upgrade it to become a master at any time.
 

Q & A:
Q:  if I do not renew the annual subscription after the first year, will the FLEX continue to work with all currently activated protocols and licenses, and I will only lose access to future updates and new protocols? 
A: Yes, you can work with Flex even though your subscription is expired.
Clearly, without a valid subscription, it won't be possible to use new protocols, require technical support and the tool will not under warranty
